This lovely little display breakout is the best way to add a small, colorful and bright display to any project. Since the display uses 4-wire SPI to communicate and has its own pixel-addressable frame buffer, it can be used with every kind of microcontroller. Even a very small one with low memory and few pins available!
The 1.44″ display has 128×128 color pixels. Unlike the low cost “Nokia 6110” and similar LCD displays, which are CSTN type and thus have poor color and slow refresh, this display is a true TFT! The TFT driver (ST7735R) can display full 16-bit color using our library code.
This 1.44 inch TFT LCD Color Screen Module SPI Interface has 128 x 128 resolution and 262 colors, it uses SPI interface to communicate with the controller such as Arduino, it is the best upgrading of the Nokia5110.
The breakout has the TFT display soldered on (it uses a delicate flex-circuit connector) as well as an ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator and a 3/5V level shifter so you can use it with 3.3V or 5V power and logic.
Features :
TFT color screen, the effect is far better than other small CSTN screen
1.44 inch TFT LCD Color Screen Module SPI Interface Overview
The 1.44 inch TFT LCD Color Screen Module with SPI Interface is a compact, full-color display breakout driven by the ST7735 controller. With a 128×128 pixel resolution and onboard frame buffer, it easily connects to microcontrollers running at 3.3–5 V, making it ideal for adding vibrant graphics and text to Arduino, ESP8266/ESP32, Raspberry Pi and other embedded projects.

How to Use 1.44 inch TFT LCD Color Screen Module SPI Interface
Connect the module’s VCC to 3.3–5 V, GND to ground, then wire MOSI, SCK, CS, DC and RESET pins to your microcontroller’s SPI lines. Install an ST7735 driver library (for example Adafruit_ST7735 with Adafruit_GFX), initialize the display in setup(), and use library draw commands to render text, shapes and bitmaps directly to the 128×128 frame buffer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What voltage range does the display support?
This module accepts an input voltage between 3.3 V and 5 V on VCC and operates with logic signals in the same range, making it compatible with both 5 V and 3.3 V microcontrollers.
Which libraries are recommended for Arduino?
We recommend the Adafruit_ST7735 and Adafruit_GFX libraries. After wiring SCK, MOSI, CS, DC and RESET pins to your Arduino, call tft.initR() in setup() and use tft.print() or graphic routines to draw on the screen.
Can I display custom images and fonts?
Yes. The built-in 128×128 frame buffer and 16-bit color support allow you to render custom bitmaps, icons, and TrueType fonts using the graphics library’s drawBitmap() and setFont() functions.
The 1.44 inch TFT LCD Color Screen Module SPI Interface is a versatile tft lcd displays used across a wide range of applications including embedded HMI interfaces, Raspberry Pi touchscreen projects, Arduino display projects, industrial control panels, and information kiosks.
Common use cases:
Adding a touch display to a Raspberry Pi project
Building a portable game console
Creating a dashboard for sensor data
This product is ideal for embedded developers, IoT makers, and industrial engineers.
Technical Tip: Check interface type (SPI, I2C, HDMI, RGB) and driver IC compatibility with your development board. IPS panels offer better viewing angles than TN.
