eSUN’s PLA Clear is a transparent PLA filament designed to offer clarity and aesthetic appeal while retaining the ease of use expected from PLA. Its semi-transparent nature allows light to pass through, giving prints a glass-like or frosted look depending on layer thickness and infill settings.
Because PLA Clear retains the favorable mechanical and printing properties of standard PLA, it doesn’t require an enclosed printer chamber or heated enclosure. Its low shrinkage and minimal warping make it suitable for even larger prints. The printing process is free from harsh fumes, making it safer and more pleasant for indoor or workshop use.
You can use PLA Clear in a variety of applications where aesthetics or partial transparency is desired—such as display objects, custom lighting diffusers, decorative parts, or prototypes that benefit from seeing internal structures.
