At the heart of these modules is the ESP32-D0WD chip, featuring two independently controllable CPU cores with adjustable clock frequencies from 80MHz to 240MHz. The chip also boasts a comprehensive set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, an SD card interface, Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C.
The ESP-32S Wifi Bluetooth combo module provides SDK Firmware for rapid online programming and open-source GCC-based toolchains for development support.
