Product Description
The WCS1700 current sensor is an economical and precise solution for DC and AC current sensing in various systems, such as industrial, commercial, and communications systems.
The sensor has a unique package that allows easy implementation without altering the original system. It enables current sensing by letting the system’s own electric wire pass through a 9.0mm diameter hole. Typical applications include motor control, load detection and management, over-current fault detection, and any intelligent power management system, etc.
The WCS1700 has a linear hall sensor IC with low-temperature drift and a temperature compensation circuit. The sensor IC detects the magnetic field generated by any current passing through the hole and converts it into a proportional voltage.
