Looking for Arduino Mkr Therm Shield? Arduino MKR Therm Shield is available at Zbotic with fast shipping across India.
The MKR THERM Shield allows a board of the MKR family to acquire temperatures from a thermocouple of type K and a DS18Bxx digital one-wire sensor. The Thermocouple is a kind of temperature sensor that offers high accuracy and a wide range of measured temperatures. Its analog nature requires specific interfacing and this shield relies on the MAX31855 thermocouple digital interface.
The two connectors of the MKR THERM Shield allow the usage of Type K thermocouples with or without a plug attached to the metal wires.
The MKR THERM Shield has its own library to read the temperature measured by the thermocouple. You may find further details and a usage example in our Getting Started page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which MKR boards work with the Therm Shield?
The Therm Shield is compatible with all Arduino MKR series boards (e.g., MKR1000, MKR Zero, MKR WiFi 1010). Simply align the headers and stack the shield onto your board.
Can I use sensors other than Type K thermocouples?
This shield supports only Type K thermocouples via the MAX31855 converter and DS18Bxx one-wire sensors. Other thermocouple types require a different interface.
Is cold-junction compensation handled automatically?
Yes, the onboard MAX31855 chip performs cold-junction compensation internally, and the Arduino library processes this data for accurate temperature readings without extra calibration steps.
