5.1K Ohm 0.25W Carbon Film Resistor (Pack of 100)
5.1 k Ohms ±5% 0.25W, 1/4W Through Hole Resistor Axial Carbon Film.
The CFR Series Carbon Film Resistors are manufactured by coating a homogeneous film of pure carbon on high-grade ceramic rods. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned connecting leads of electrolytic copper are welded to the endcaps. The resistors are coated with layers of tan color lacquer. For resistors operated in ambient temperatures above 70°C.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I verify the 5.1KΩ resistance value?
Use a digital multimeter set to the ohm range. Place the probes on each lead; the display should read within 4.845KΩ to 5.355KΩ (±5%). Always measure out of circuit or ensure power is removed.
Are these resistors suitable for high-temperature applications?
Yes. The carbon film construction and ceramic core allow operation from -55°C to +155°C. Ideal for devices exposed to temperature extremes, such as power supplies and outdoor sensors.
Is a pack of 100 resistors enough for prototyping?
With 100 units, you’ll have ample spares for trial-and-error builds, circuit revisions, and replacements. It’s perfect for educational labs, hobby projects, and small-scale production runs.
