5V 10A DC Mini Power Relay
The SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) relay is an effective switching solution for controlling high-current AC/DC appliances using a microcontroller or sensor output. This compact 5V PCB Mount Sugar Cube SPDT Relay can switch loads up to 10A , making it suitable for various applications. It features a coil resistance of 70 ohms and a coil current of 70mA, with a trigger voltage of 5V.
The relay includes five pins: Coil End 1, Coil End 2, COM (common), NC (Normally Closed), and NO (Normally Open). Coil End 1 and Coil End 2 are used to activate the relay. One end connects to a 12V supply while the other connects to the circuit’s ground. The COM pin connects to one end of the load, with the other end linked to either NC or NO. When the load is connected to NC, it remains ON until triggered. Conversely, if connected to NO, the load remains OFF until the relay is activated.
These relays are commonly used in applications such as home automation, switching circuits, and security systems.
