Product Description
The PMS7003 is a versatile digital particle concentration sensor that measures the concentration of suspended particles in the air. It outputs particle data via a digital interface, making it ideal for use in instruments designed to monitor air quality or other environmental systems, providing accurate real-time concentration data.
This sensor operates on the principle of laser scattering. When laser light interacts with airborne particles, it scatters, and the sensor collects this scattered light at a specific angle. The intensity of the scattered light is then recorded over time, allowing for precise particle measurement. The PMS7003 offers a minimum particle size resolution of 0.3 µm and features a zero-error alarm rate for reliable readings. It provides real-time responses and continuous data acquisition without the need for ducting design, offering great flexibility in its application.
With an ultra-thin design of just 12mm, the PMS7003 is ideal for portable devices. It is compatible with USB to TTL serial download cables, works with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1, and can easily emulate existing applications via the COM port. The sensor operates on a 5V power supply and can be easily integrated into a wide range of projects and handheld devices.
