PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The CC1101 is a low-power transceiver designed for wireless communication in the ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) and SRD (Short Range Device) frequency bands, primarily operating at 868 MHz, but capable of functioning between 779 MHz and 928 MHz.
This device features a configurable baseband modem that supports various modulation formats and data rates up to 600 kbps. It also includes hardware features for packet handling, data buffering, burst transmissions, clear channel assessment, link quality indication, and wake-on-radio functionality. The CC1101’s key settings, along with its 64-byte transmit/receive FIFOs, are accessible via an SPI interface, enabling easy integration with a microcontroller.
A typical system using the CC1101 transceiver consists of a microcontroller, a few passive components, and the CC1101 module itself, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of wireless applications.
