Espressif Systems’ ESP32-WROOM-32 MCU Modules are powerful and versatile Wi-Fi/BT/BLE modules suitable for a wide range of applications. They are capable of handling diverse tasks, from low-power sensor networks to voice encoding, music streaming, and MP3 decoding.

These modules are built around the ESP32-D0WD chip, which features two independently controllable CPU cores with adjustable frequencies ranging from 80MHz to 240MHz. Additionally, the chip includes a comprehensive set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, an SD card interface, Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C.

The ESP-32S Wifi Bluetooth combo module provides SDK Firmware for rapid online programming and open-source GCC-based toolchains for development support. It is ideal for a variety of applications, such as generic low-power IoT sensor hubs, loggers, video streaming for cameras, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth enabled devices, home automation, and mesh network applications, catering to makers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and solution providers.

The ESP32 is a single-chip 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo chip engineered with TSMC’s ultra-low-power 40 nm technology. It offers excellent power and RF performance, robustness, versatility, features, and reliability for a range of applications and power profiles.

With fewer than 10 external components, the ESP32 is the industry’s most integrated solution for Wi-Fi + Bluetooth applications. It integrates an antenna switch, RF balun, power amplifier, low noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules, thereby minimizing PCB space.
